I was on the phone the other night with my friend Joy who I have known for the better part of 50 years, and we were chatting about my blog and all things yummy. We also chatted about how I have evolved as a person. She and I love to make things, and we enjoy how the things we make turn out. I love how we can share all things yummilicious and how even though she is so far away, we have chatted and shared ideas. When I told her how I was making it a point to have more adventure in my life this year, Last year the word for me was accomplishment. I do believe I reached my goal of accomplishing what I had planned. I am at a decent weight, and I eat so much healthier than I ever have in my life. Not just for me but for my family that happens to be my whole world. I want to live that happy healthy life I so longed for, for so many years. And surely did accomplish it. This year Not only is my word for the year going to be Adventure, but I think I should add Creation to the mix. Since starting this blog, I have learned so many things. I have learned how to create different meals that are heart healthy and learned from my friend Dan who I went to high school with tips and tricks on pretty plating.
