 Broccoli Chicken Cheddar Bake



    This casserole is the perfect dish to have on a cold wintery night. Super easy to make and can be made ahead of time and frozen so that you have a meal prepared on those days that you just don't want to cook.


    Recipe:  Bake @350 degrees for 35 to 40 mins (90 mins if frozen)

1 pound of Broccoli Flowerets 

1 pound of chicken breasts cut into chunks

1 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese setting 1/2 cup aside

1 small onion chopped

1/2 cup sour cream

1 can of cheddar cheese soup

1 half bag of either stuffing mix or gluten free stuffing mix

salt and pepper to taste

5 slices of cooked bacon chopped, or you can use bacon bits either works fine set aside for topping

Directions:

Take your chicken breast and cut into small chunks, cook until done, set aside.

Cook your broccoli as directed on the bag or use fresh and drain

In a mixing bowl add your chicken and broccoli and remaining ingredients except of the 1/2 cup of cheese and bacon. Mix everything together and put into greased baking dish. Take remaining cheese and your bacon and add as your topping. Bake as directed.
